The Opportunity

  • Permanent full-time role
  • Lead your teams to deliver excellence in financial accounting, accounts payable, and credit control
  • Achieve and maintain the highest corporate governance standards as it relates to our statutory obligations
  • Coordinate and supervise the bi-annual stocktake and fixed asset audit
  • Supervise, review, and approve monthly and year-end reconciliations and schedules
  • Provide a true and accurate financial position for inclusion in the monthly management reports

About You - Essential

  • Relevant accounting qualifications, CPA, or CA level or equivalent overseas certification
  • Five years' industry experience as a senior financial accountant or three years as a finance manager
  • High-level expertise with ERP accounting software
  • Advanced knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards and IFRS
  • Proven ability to develop a team with a strong customer service culture
  • Experience in maintaining the highest standards in corporate governance and industry standard protocols
  • Demonstrated history managing all corporate and consolidated reporting requirements in a timely and efficient manner
  • An effective collaborator and influencer across all levels of the business
  • Team management experience and proven results in staff empowerment
  • Acceptance of infrequent interstate travel
  • Current work rights in Australia
