Job Opportunity: Finance and Tax Transformation Expert

We are seeking a seasoned finance professional to join our dynamic team as a Finance and Tax Transformation Senior Consultant/Manager.

About the Role:

This critical position involves assessing finance and tax functions, identifying opportunities for improvement, and designing target operating models to drive transformative change. You will work alongside multiple teams to deliver exceptional project outcomes and stakeholder management throughout transformation projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, 3+ years of experience in Financial Services with a specialisation in Finance or Tax, and a proven ability to lead and implement change. They will also possess excellent organisation, time management, and problem-solving skills, as well as a mindset of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess finance and tax functions, identify opportunities for improvement, and design target operating models to drive transformative change.
  • Guide and support teams in data gathering and analysis, conducting interviews and process walkthroughs to map current-state operations.
  • Analyse, optimise, and redesign finance and tax processes, including technology integration and operating model transformation.
  • Collaborate with broader teams to implement relevant technology and AI-driven tools, applying data and AI expertise to both client and project contexts.
  • Deliver exceptional project outcomes and stakeholder management throughout transformation projects, packaging findings into high-quality, concise work products.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A finance-related degree or qualifications (such as CA, CPA, CFA)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to distill complex finance and tax processes into clear and concise solutions.
  • Experience in leading and implementing change, with a proven track record of delivering successful transformation projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to form strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in relevant technologies such as Accounting, consolidation and reporting tools Automation, Gen AI and Agentic AI.
