C&K - The Creche and Kindergarten is seeking an experienced and passionate Assistant Director to join our team at C&K Kedron.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support our Director in managing the day-to-day operations, collaborate with a dynamic team of educators, and contribute to meaningful projects that drive positive outcomes for children and families.

As an Assistant Director, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our centre by providing guidance and support to educators, implementing educational programs, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

We are looking for an individual who is not only skilled and knowledgeable but also has a passion for achieving high-quality outcomes for children, their families, and the community.

You will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the Director in managing the centre's operations, including staff supervision, program implementation, and resource management;
  • Providing guidance and support to educators to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver high-quality education and care services;
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of educational programs that meet the needs of children and families;
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports, including attendance, incidents, and child observations;
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, including quality improvement processes and safety protocols.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or willingness to commence studying that qualification;
  • First Aid, CPR, and Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification;
  • A valid Blue Card or Exemption Card;
  • A Police Check current within three months (or willingness to obtain one).
