About This Role

We are seeking experienced professionals to lead and develop teams delivering holistic support services to children and young people.

The successful candidates will provide leadership, monitor team caseloads, ensure programs meet high standards, and comply with relevant legislation and policy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic guidance and support to a team of practitioners and youth workers.
  • Monitor and manage team performance, identifying areas for improvement and development opportunities.
  • Ensure program delivery aligns with client needs, service goals, and organisational requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks, contracts, and policies.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks impacting service delivery.

Requirements:

  • A recognised qualification in human services or a related field.
  • Significant experience in the child protection and out-of-home care sector.
  • Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills.
  • Highly developed critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • A current driver's licence.
