Job Overview

This role plays a vital part in providing support, guidance, and representation to members on workplace matters.

The Member Service Centre Organiser operates within a fast-paced environment requiring adaptability and open-mindedness towards innovative ideas and approaches.

As an MSC Telephone Organiser, you will contribute to helping members achieve fairness at work, job security, and the best possible remuneration and working conditions.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide information, support, advice, and representation to members on workplace issues
  • Operate effectively in a dynamic environment with peak inbound phone call demands
  • Work closely with the Team Leader to meet key objectives and goals
  • Recruit and retain members by promoting the union's mission and values
Key Requirements
  • A commitment to union principles and values, including a willingness to help others and make a positive contribution to society
  • Excellent communication skills, with confidence in dealing with people over the phone
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently, with good record-keeping skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Familiarity with relational database management systems
