Marketing Manager, Australia & New Zealand

Join a thriving global content business operating 24 wholly-owned or joint-venture production companies in 12 countries. In addition to managing one of the television industry's largest libraries of award-winning feature films and television shows, the company is home to linear and digital channels around the world.

Based in Sydney, Australia and reporting to the Marketing Director for ANZ, the Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and managing marketing plans for Sony Pictures TV titles and Feature Films. The role requires a combination of excellent marketing experience and exceptional oral and written skills coupled with analytical and financial knowledge.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage marketing plans for TV titles and Feature Films.
  • Manage title P&L and TV marketing budget.
  • Brief media, publicity, and promotional agencies as required.
  • Liaise with marketing and publicity title leads in LA and London.
  • Manage all creative materials including advertising assets.
  • Deliver key marketing assets to clients.
  • Work with the SPT Distribution Sales team to maximise revenue.
  • Support catalogue campaign approvals and lifecycle management.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients.
  • Support Marketing Director with local screenings requirements.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Typically 5+ years in marketing with some or all of that experience in a media or related business.
  • University Degree preferred.
  • Experience within entertainment, content distribution, and media.
  • Strong commercial acumen and proven experience managing budgets.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, planning, and analytical capability.

This role requires a high standard of influencing and interpersonal skills, ability to meet deadlines, and multi-tasking.
