We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Manager to lead our regional operations team.
- This role requires strong leadership and operational skills, with experience in managing complex operations and leading teams to achieve business objectives.
- The successful candidate will have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, as well as the ability to analyze problems and develop solutions.
As a Regional Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the safe, reliable, and efficient delivery of rail haulage services across our regional Northwest NSW portfolio. This includes:
- Leading and developing a large operational team focused on operational excellence and safety.
- Designing and implementing regional operational strategies to enhance service performance and efficiency.
- Building and maintaining operational relationships with customers to support business strategy and growth.
- Driving key initiatives to improve efficiency, resource utilization, and cost-effectiveness.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Proven leadership experience in a complex operational environment.
- Strategic thinking and a passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Experience in managing complex operations, ideally in freight or heavy industry.
- Excellent contract management and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical mindset with problem-solving skills and high degree of initiative.
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Engineering, Logistics, or related field advantageous.
