About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Financial Officer to join our team at Standards Australia Limited. As a key member of our Executive Leadership Team, you will play a critical role in guiding our organisation through a pivotal phase of customer transformation and growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic financial management and leadership to support our long-term strategic objectives and organisational sustainability.
  • Oversee the company's financial operations, communicate the financial story of the organisation, and guide resource allocation in line with the company's long-term strategic plan.
  • Manage the organisation's investment fund, balancing growth with financial sustainability and risk, and lead due diligence and financial analysis for future activities.
  • Develop and implement best-practice financial policies and procedures, manage the External Auditor relationship, and ensure the integrity of financial reporting, internal controls, and compliance.
  • Oversee commercial decision-making, establish a framework for tracking and enhancing commercial performance, manage and oversee the company's financial systems, and advise on market changes while providing strategic financial recommendations to the Executive Leadership Team and Board.
About You

We are looking for a highly qualified and experienced individual with a Master's degree (or equivalent experience) in Accounting, Business accounting, or Finance. You will have at least 5 years' experience in executive leadership roles with commercial responsibilities and possess strong commercial leadership qualities, integrity, and a clear sense of accountability.
