Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team and play a critical role in supporting cutting-edge defence projects with advanced technology.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and prepare equipment models, layouts, drawings, and analysis to ensure the highest quality outcomes.
  • Create documentation for interfacing with production facilities, ensuring seamless integration and efficiency.
  • Contribute to the management of configuration design documentation, facilitating effective collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Support Acceptance Testing activities, including Factory Acceptance Test, Site Acceptance Test, and First Article Inspections, to validate product performance and safety.
  • Prepare test reports, project documentation, production baselines, and supplier technical data packs to maintain accuracy and transparency.
  • Design processes for conducting engineering activities, including Acceptance Tests, to optimize efficiency and productivity.
  • Analyse Root Cause for Non-Conforming products, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Assess product Safety, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Requirements

We are looking for candidates with:

  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, demonstrating a strong foundation in mechanical principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, showcasing excellent administrative and organizational skills.
  • Experience with CAD systems such as SolidWorks, highlighting expertise in 3D modeling and design.
  • A background in a similar role in a defence environment, indicating adaptability and familiarity with industry-specific challenges.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain an Australian security clearance, ensuring access to sensitive information and high-priority projects.
