Job Summary:

We seek a skilled Financial Accountant to join our team in Brisbane. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for preparing monthly financial reports, statutory returns, and quarterly board reports.

Main Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Prepare monthly financial reports, including Profit & Loss Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow">
  • Lodge timely statutory returns (Business Activity Statement, Pay As You Go, Fringe Benefits Tax, etc)">
  • Deliver quarterly board reports">
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes">
  • Assist with year-end statutory accounts and external audit coordination">
  • Maintain accurate general ledger entries and reconciliations">
  • Ensure compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards and internal policies">
  • Manage and maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules">
  • Assist with accounts payable functions, including processing and reconciliations">
  • Handle stock control and reconciliations">
  • Monitor and improve internal controls; participate in process reviews">
  • Lead Singapore compliance audits and prepare relevant tax and GST documentation">
  • Liaise with global head office to ensure group alignment">

  • Strong experience in month-end reporting and audit preparation">
  • Exposure to consolidation and integration processes is a plus">
  • Comfortable working in a structured head office environment, with overseas leadership">
  • Able to navigate procedures while taking ownership at a local level">
