We're seeking an experienced Pricing Actuary to join our team and contribute to the growth and success of SafetyCulture Care. This exciting opportunity will allow you to build and run a brand new pricing and portfolio management function, working closely with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement pricing strategies to improve top and bottom line performance of insurance products, providing recommendations to management on initiatives and insights.
  • Establish and maintain pricing and portfolio management infrastructures, including portfolio datasets in collaboration with the data and analytics team.
  • Conduct pricing and portfolio reviews for key insurance products and portfolios, delivering high-quality insights and practical recommendations.
  • Collaborate with underwriters and stakeholders on pricing enquiries, serving as a subject matter expert for product pricing.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to implement pricing and portfolio changes, ensuring governance processes are fit for purpose and executed efficiently.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of general insurance commercial lines pricing experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to build statistical and financial models from scratch to solve business problems.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Excel and VBA programming.
  • Proficiency in Python or R programming.
  • Experience handling large volumes of data with expertise in SQL/ETL tools.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Motivation to expand knowledge and grow with a high-performing team.
  • Able to prioritize tasks and work comfortably in a deadline-driven environment.
