Electronics technicians play a pivotal role in our Red Ochre Autonomy and Sensors team, contributing to high-impact programs with their hands-on expertise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on complex electronic systems, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Supervise junior technicians, certify tasks, and maintain compliance with defence-grade standards, promoting excellence and quality in all work processes.
  • Troubleshoot faults in high-tech systems, utilizing problem-solving skills to drive innovative solutions and meet deadlines.
  • Contribute to the integration and validation of electronic equipment, guaranteeing seamless integration and functionality.
  • Manage configuration, conduct fault trend analysis, and ensure accurate maintenance records, enhancing overall system reliability and performance.

About You

  • Minimum Certificate III/IV in Electronics is required, along with extensive experience in relevant technical industries.
  • Proven expertise in complex electronic systems is highly desirable, as is previous experience working with radar and/or air traffic control systems.
  • Ability to thrive in a highly regulated, defence-aligned environment with strong attention to detail and security clearance.
  • Negative Vetting Level-1 security clearance or eligibility to obtain is mandatory, as is eligibility for International Traffic In Arms (ITAR) regulations.
  • Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain is also essential.
