Electronics Technical Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Electronics Technical Specialist to join our team. As part of the Mechatronics Engineering team, you will contribute to the development of innovative sensor technologies.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Fabricate Electronic Devices: Plan, design, and fabricate electronic devices and systems to support diverse engineering projects.
  • Develop Practical Solutions: Apply your electronics expertise to develop practical solutions within a collaborative project team.
  • Assist Senior Engineers: Assist senior engineers in the development and testing of advanced sensor technologies.
  • Layout Printed Circuit Boards: Layout and assemble printed circuit boards (PCBs).
  • Fabricate Instrument Enclosures: Fabricate instrument enclosures and integrate components.
  • Test Circuits and Systems: Test circuits and systems to ensure they meet performance specifications.

About You:

  • A relevant trade certificate or diploma such as a TAFE Certificate IV or Diploma or equivalent relevant work experience in electronics and control or electronics and communications is required.
  • You should have knowledge of the fundamentals of electronic circuit analysis.
  • The ability to layout simple printed circuit boards is essential.
  • You must have good soldering technique with the ability to solder surface-mount components.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills coupled with excellent attention to detail are necessary.
