Electronic Systems Specialist

This is a challenging role for a skilled individual who can work on electronic systems and lift mechanisms. The successful candidate will have the ability to install, calibrate and adjust equipment to meet required standards.

The position involves troubleshooting electronic and control systems in lift mechanisms to identify and resolve faults. The specialist will also repair and replace faulty electronic components, wiring and system parts to maintain reliability.

Routine maintenance and servicing of lift systems are essential to ensure safe and efficient operation. This requires strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with electronic and electrical control systems. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, calibrate and adjust electronic equipment and control systems for lifts.
  • Test and troubleshoot electronic and control systems in lift mechanisms.
  • Repair and replace faulty electronic components, wiring and system parts.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and servicing of lift systems.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams and schematics.
  • Work with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and motor control systems.
  • Conduct electrical safety checks and compliance testing.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Certificate III or IV in Electronics and Communications, Electrical Fitting or equivalent.
  • Experience working with electronic and electrical control systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical plans and schematics.
  • Experience with PLCs, motor control circuits and safety relay systems.
