Job Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced professional to assume the role of Activities Coordinator. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our seniors and contribute to their overall well-being.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Create and update activity calendars, notices, and schedules
  • Oversee event setup and takedown, and arrange transportation for residents
  • Plan engaging activities and consider feedback from residents and team members
  • Compile and manage important documentation such as attendance records, progress reports, and activity plans
  • Establish a network of resources comprising individuals, volunteers, and organizations

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Completion of Grade 12 education and recognized recreational courses for seniors
  • Previous experience in coordinating activities for seniors or related combinations of education, training, and experience
  • A valid driver's license or willingness to obtain one
