Job Description

This role involves managing meal preparation and catering services, ensuring that residents receive nutritious meals while maintaining health regulations. You will also be responsible for managing housekeeping and laundry services, ensuring that residents receive efficient and effective services that meet their requirements.

  • Manage meal preparation and catering service, ensuring resident satisfaction and health regulation compliance.
  • Manage housekeeping and laundry services, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of services.
What We're Looking For

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant qualification and previous work experience as a Chef or Cook, essential.
  • The ability to be hands-on in the kitchen.
  • Strong leadership skills with proven experience managing and coaching large teams in a busy environment.
  • Prior experience in preparation and cooking techniques for a large number of people.
  • Experience in menu coordination, including recipe development tailored to an aged care environment.
  • Working knowledge of OHS and food safety standards.
  • Experience in managing housekeeping and laundry functions.
  • Desirable: experience working within aged care.
