Medicines Policy Manager

The Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Healthcare is seeking a seasoned Medicines Policy Manager to lead the development of national policy content, guidance, information, and communications about key quality use of medicines issues in primary care.
About the RoleThis key position involves managing a team that reviews and analyses emerging evidence on the safe and quality use of medicines.
- Conduct thorough analysis of existing data to inform best practice recommendations.
- Develop and implement effective strategies for convening events to share knowledge on safe and quality use of medicines.
- Collaborate with senior clinical advisors, project managers, analytics teams, communications teams, and partnerships teams to achieve Commission priorities and programs regarding the safe and quality use of medicines in healthcare.
- Excellent policy development and project management experience.
- Highly developed analytical skills and conceptual ability.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A relevant qualification and extensive experience in healthcare safety and quality issues and standards.
