    • Undertake house cashiering duties, including EFTPOS, cash, and cheque receipting.
    • Manage petty cash and perform end-of-day reconciliation.
  • Customer Service Excellence:
    • Provide accurate and timely information to customers, ensuring their needs are met.
    • Handle customer complaints and resolve issues with empathy and professionalism.
    • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Administrative Support:
    • Maintain accurate records and databases, ensuring data integrity.
    • Assist with general administrative tasks as required, supporting the team's productivity.
Requirements:
  • Strong customer service skills and a genuine desire to assist the public, providing excellent service.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, with ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Previous experience in local government or a similar role is highly desirable, bringing valuable knowledge and skills.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations is also desirable, ensuring compliance and best practice.
