This role is an opportunity to contribute to the delivery of impactful communications at a higher education institution.
As Communications and Engagement Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting internal and external communications by delivering key projects and campaigns. Your responsibilities will include creating engaging written content for various platforms, collaborating with stakeholders to plan and deliver timely communication messages, and developing digital content for promotional channels.
You will also be responsible for monitoring and managing engagement across digital platforms, including scheduling posts and responding to content, as well as assisting with media liaison and event coordination tasks.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Sustain a strong understanding of communication strategies and write engaging content.
- Maintain excellent interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Showcase ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Be adaptable and resilient in a fast-paced environment when priorities may change.
- Utilise Microsoft Office and digital media platforms effectively.
Requirements:
- Qualifications in communications, media, marketing, or a related field.
- Experience in visual communication.
- Able to obtain or hold a working with children clearance.
