The Motor Product & Underwriting Specialist plays a crucial role in facilitating effective communication and collaboration between the Car Product & Underwriting team and other key operational areas divisions.
This role is responsible for ensuring the successful and timely delivery of cross-functional initiatives and projects by providing hands-on support and subject matter expertise.
Key Responsibilities- Facilitate engagement and change management with other divisions for the planning, design, and implementation of Car Product & Underwriting initiated initiatives and projects.
- Build out a pipeline of work and provide subject matter expertise or engage with SMEs to support other divisions' initiatives and projects requiring Car Product & Underwriting input, review, and approval.
- 5+ years of experience in General Insurance Product and/or Underwriting functions with a strong understanding of the end-to-end retail insurance value chain.
- Highly engaging, collaborative, and consultative approach with a sound comprehensive understanding of general insurance principles.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across different divisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels of the organisation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement and develop solutions.
- Advanced stakeholder management skills, including conflict resolution and negotiation.
