About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Motor Enthusiast Underwriter to join our team at Shannons Insurance in Brisbane. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and providing expert advice on motor insurance products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take incoming calls from customers and provide information on motor insurance products
  • Build rapport with customers and drive solutions to meet their needs
  • Strive to make the complex simple and ensure customers' needs are met
  • Share your passion for motoring and provide a unique service to ensure customers can drive or ride forward with confidence

Requirements
  • A genuine interest in cars or motorbikes is essential
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to build rapport with customers and drive solutions
  • Ability to problem solve and make the complex simple for customers
  • Demonstrated motivation to achieve and exceed targets
  • High interest in developing your knowledge and generating ideas through innovative thinking
  • High level of technical ability and navigating multiple systems
Working Arrangements

We offer a hybrid working model which allows you to find a balance between working from home and working from the office. You will be provided with a laptop and will require a home phone line or VOIP connection, internet connection, dual screens, mouse, and webcam, as well as an ergonomic setup with desk and chair in a quiet, private space.
