We are seeking a highly skilled Truck Bay Supervisor to join our team. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced technician to lead diagnostics and complex repairs, while maintaining productive customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee diagnostics and complex repairs
  • Maintain productive customer relations and ensures prompt and efficient attention to customer needs to minimize customer product downtime
  • Coaches on preventative maintenance and/or repairs completed by more experienced technicians; provide work direction to others; review repair plans, parts and tool lists, etc
  • Escalate unresolved issues to product specialists / engineering teams
  • Complete required documentation, such as service worksheets, timesheets, warranty claims, quality documents via handwritten forms or business system input screens.
  • Identify additional sales and service opportunities with customer
  • Maintain work area and tools for cleanliness and proper operation
  • Adheres to and ensures adherence of technicians to all relevant Health, Safety & Environmental policies, procedures and legislation and reports any issues / incidents to their manager
Requirements:
  • Apprentice Trained Engine Technician (Cert III) or equivalent
  • Advanced level of workshop or field service experience
  • Advanced level knowledge of and experience with engine products
  • HR License (preferred)
  • Experience providing technical advice and coaching to more junior technicians (preferred)
  • Cummins Experience (preferred)
Additional Information:
  • This is a full-time position with 38 hours per week
  • The successful candidate will work in an afternoon shift from 13:54 – 22:00
  • Overtime may be required – Penalty rates paid for all work above 38 hours
  • All necessary safety equipment / PPE and uniforms will be provided and laundered
  • Domestic relocation may be offered for the right candidate
  • A local valid driver’s license is preferred
