Role Overview

We are seeking experienced Alcohol and Drug Clinicians to join our team in Hervey Bay, Fraser Coast Region, with outreach to Bundaberg and the North/South Burnett regions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive client assessments using standardised tools.
  • Develop tailored treatment plans based on individual needs and readiness for change.
  • Provide evidence-based psychological interventions, including motivational interviewing and CBT.
  • Facilitate family and group therapy sessions to support recovery and strengthen relationships.
  • Collaborate with community providers to coordinate client care.
  • Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Qualifications in health, social science or behavioural science field.
  • Diploma in Alcohol & Drugs.
  • Experience working with individuals affected by alcohol or other drug issues.
  • Understanding of harm minimisation principles.
  • Strong knowledge of community resources and referral networks.
