Mondelēz International is seeking a skilled Demand Planning Specialist to join our team in the chocolate category. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will play a critical role in driving business outcomes and mitigating risks.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to the demand management cycle of the integrated business planning (IBP) process for the chocolate category.
- Liaise with commercial and operational teams to develop ways to continuously improve communication and support business KPIs.
- Manage forecast compilation process, including short-term weekly plans and long-term forecasts.
- Own baseline forecasts for the portfolio to ensure SKU-level forecast accuracy.
- Act as an intermediary between supply and commercial business to drive business outcomes and mitigation actions.
- Monitor and drive actions to mitigate finished good wastage.
- Participate in the integrated business planning process and manage the demand planning tool.
- Perform root-cause analysis for continuous plan improvement for key service issues, forecast error, and bias.
- Experience in a fast-moving consumer goods or consumer packaged goods environment, preferably in food or other fast-moving, dynamic industries.
- Experience within an IBP/S&OP environment.
- Able to influence cross-functional teams, manage stakeholders, and work on priorities.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical skills, and ability to understand and interpret data.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Team player who can work with multiple functions on a daily basis.
- High proficiency in Excel.
- Experience in demand planning or similar functions.
