Job Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team on a 6 week on, 3 week off roster.

  • Carry out scheduled maintenance tasks in a safe and efficient manner;
  • Utilise skill and experience to minimise downtime on equipment;
  • Ensure accurate recording and reporting of maintenance activities;
  • Maintain a high level of housekeeping in the workshop and working areas at all times;
  • Read and interpret technical manuals and specifications;
  • Report any equipment faults to the Maintenance Supervisor for scheduling into the workshop weekly.

To be successful in this role, you will require excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and a strong work ethic. You will also need to be able to communicate effectively with colleagues and management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carrying out routine maintenance tasks on mobile equipment;
  • Conducting inspections and testing to identify potential issues;
  • Repairing and replacing faulty components as required;
  • Collaborating with other technicians to achieve common goals.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in electrical maintenance or a related field;
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems and principles;
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy equipment and tools.
