Our client is a leader in the industry providing comprehensive maintenance and reactive services to large commercial, industrial, and manufacturing food and beverage equipment across Australia. Due to growth, we are seeking an Electrical Field Service Technician to join their team to conduct service and maintenance on equipment across the region, whilst developing and building relationships with customers.

The role :

  • Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance on equipment at customer premises, including troubleshooting and fault diagnosis.
  • Install and commission equipment under the guidance of Project Management.
  • Complete all required paperwork accurately to ensure smooth invoicing and payment processes.
  • Provide technical coaching to service technicians and offer feedback.
  • Follow customer site procedures and policies.
  • Take ownership of jobs and deliver excellent customer service.
  • Minimize stock losses through proper stock takes.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external customers.

What we're looking for :

  • Full Electrical License or refrigeration mechanics certification.
  • Valid Driver's license.
  • Extensive fault-finding experience.
  • Service or industrial experience.
  • Availability for on-call duties (nights, weekends, holidays) on a rostered basis.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to use PDA devices.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Proactive and self-motivated.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
