Research Partnerships Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Research Partnerships Manager to join our team at RMIT University. As a key member of our Research and Innovation Portfolio, you will play a critical role in developing and delivering collaborative research initiatives that drive impact and excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and manage strategic research partnerships with industry, government, and community partners to drive collaborative research initiatives.
- Identify and develop research opportunities that align with RMIT's strategic priorities and research strengths.
- Manage the development of complex, competitive research bids and grant applications.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to foster a culture of collaboration and innovation.
- Develop and implement process improvement initiatives to enhance research partnerships and translation outcomes.
- Extensive experience in research partnerships and collaboration, with a strong track record of delivering successful research initiatives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex research projects and partnerships.
- Strong business writing and presentation skills, with the ability to develop and deliver high-quality reports and presentations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on delivering results and meeting deadlines.
