Administration Support Professional

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate professional to join our Theranostics Centre in Hollywood, WA. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a cutting-edge facility delivering molecular imaging and targeted cancer therapies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-level administrative support to medical practitioners and contribute to the smooth coordination of imaging and treatment services.
  • Coordinate patient appointments and ensure timely preparation for imaging and treatment.
  • Manage reception duties, patient records, and billing processes with efficiency and accuracy.
  • Liaise with internal teams and external partners including hospitals, referrers, and allied health providers to maintain strong relationships and seamless communication.
  • Support consultant practices with scheduling, correspondence, and documentation, ensuring confidentiality and discretion at all times.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients, staff, and external partners.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with experience in using software such as Outlook, Word, and Teams.
  • Commitment to quality improvement initiatives and adherence to WHS standards, ensuring a safe working environment for all staff and patients.
  • Desirable: Completion of a Medical Receptionist Course or equivalent experience; 3+ years in medical/clinical administration; experience in medical imaging, nuclear medicine, or oncology; knowledge of medical terminology and billing procedures.
