The Role- As a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will support injured individuals as they step back into the workforce, conducting meaningful assessments and guiding them through life-changing career transitions.
- You will collaborate with a wide circle of stakeholders to co-create solutions that make a real difference, identifying barriers and designing tailored Return to Work (RTW) plans that focus on recovery, resilience, and reintegration.
- Visiting workplaces to understand the real challenges and advocate for safer, healthier, and more inclusive environments.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting client consultations and assessments to identify goals and develop effective rehabilitation plans.
- Collaborating with health professionals, employers, insurers, and other key stakeholders to co-create solutions that promote successful return to work.
- Developing and implementing tailored RTW plans that address client needs and facilitate recovery, resilience, and reintegration.
- Providing education and training to clients, employers, and other stakeholders on workplace safety, disability management, and rehabilitation strategies.
- Maintaining accurate records of client interactions, progress, and outcomes to inform future rehabilitation plans.
Requirements:
- Hold a tertiary qualification in rehabilitation counselling or masters qualification in psychology.
- Be registered with ASORC or AHPRA.
- Possess full working rights and a full Australian driving license.
