The Role
  • As a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will support injured individuals as they step back into the workforce, conducting meaningful assessments and guiding them through life-changing career transitions.
  • You will collaborate with a wide circle of stakeholders to co-create solutions that make a real difference, identifying barriers and designing tailored Return to Work (RTW) plans that focus on recovery, resilience, and reintegration.
  • Visiting workplaces to understand the real challenges and advocate for safer, healthier, and more inclusive environments.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting client consultations and assessments to identify goals and develop effective rehabilitation plans.
  • Collaborating with health professionals, employers, insurers, and other key stakeholders to co-create solutions that promote successful return to work.
  • Developing and implementing tailored RTW plans that address client needs and facilitate recovery, resilience, and reintegration.
  • Providing education and training to clients, employers, and other stakeholders on workplace safety, disability management, and rehabilitation strategies.
  • Maintaining accurate records of client interactions, progress, and outcomes to inform future rehabilitation plans.

Requirements:

  • Hold a tertiary qualification in rehabilitation counselling or masters qualification in psychology.
  • Be registered with ASORC or AHPRA.
  • Possess full working rights and a full Australian driving license.
