As a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in guiding injured individuals back into the workforce with empathy and expertise. This position requires strategic thinking, effective communication, and a commitment to empowering individuals to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments and support career transition for injured individuals by identifying areas of strength and weakness, and developing tailored plans to facilitate successful return to work.
- Collaborate with health professionals, employers, and insurers to craft impactful solutions that promote recovery, resilience, and sustainable outcomes.
- Design Return to Work plans that prioritize employee well-being, address workplace challenges, and champion safer, more inclusive environments.
- Engage with workplaces to identify opportunities for improvement and develop strategies to promote culture change and enhance the employee experience.
Qualifications:
- Possess a strong background in rehabilitation counseling or psychology, with a focus on occupational rehabilitation and return to work strategies.
- Hold registration with relevant professional bodies, such as ASORC or AHPRA, and maintain current industry knowledge and skills.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues.
