The Return to Work Specialist plays a crucial role in guiding individuals back into the workforce following an injury.
Main Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments to identify opportunities for career transition and develop tailored Return to Work plans focused on recovery and resilience.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, employers, and insurers to create impactful solutions that support injured workers' successful return to work.
- Design and implement effective workplace modifications to promote safer, inclusive environments and champion rehabilitation best practices.
- Build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams to facilitate smooth communication and ensure seamless case management.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of relevant legislation, industry trends, and evidence-based practices to stay up-to-date in the field.
- Holds a degree in Rehabilitation Counselling or a related field.
- Is registered with a relevant professional body, such as ASORC or AHPRA.
- Possesses full working rights and a valid driver's license.
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a strong understanding of rehabilitation principles and practices, and the ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
The successful candidate will be based in Ballina, Byron Bay, or Lismore, NSW, and must have a valid driver's license and full working rights.
