Job Overview

Charterhouse is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Planning Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in preparing environmental planning instruments and development control plans, policy development, and coordination of input from various professionals.

Salary:$60 - $71.84 per hour + Super

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare correspondence, reports, and memoranda as required for assigned work tasks.
  • Assist in preparation of evidence on Council's behalf for use in Court proceedings, in conjunction with the Coordinator Strategic Planning.
  • Develop systems that enhance the quality and timeliness of services provided by the section, and support the operation of the City Planning and Development directorate.
  • Represent Council at external committees, advisory bodies, or working parties as requested.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Degree in Town Planning or a related field.
  • Significant relevant work experience, including coordinating input from various professionals, preparing environmental planning instruments, and policy development.
  • Current Class 'C' driver's licence.
