Job Title: Community Living Manager

Job Summary:

As a Community Living Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of two 24/7 Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes in Western Sydney. You will lead a team of Disability Support Workers to develop and implement best practices, focusing on supporting individuals with complex needs.

Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Coordinate care and services for residents in each SIL home.">
  • Manage resources, including shared spaces, assets, and vehicles.">
  • Implement complex support plans and manage restrictive practices.">
  • Report and manage potential risks and incidents.">
  • Strive to achieve resident goals and ensure they have a say in their services.">
  • Ensure all documentation is current and relevant plans are in place.">
  • Manage key stakeholder relationships.">
  • Provide on-call support as required.">

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

">
  • ">
  • Complex behaviour management experience at a management level.">
  • Strong working knowledge of challenging and complex behaviours, restrictive practices, and NDIS legislative requirements.">
  • Ability to mentor and develop staff performance.">
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.">
  • Understanding of self-care, boundaries, and limit setting.">
  • Relevant qualification equivalent to a Diploma or above.">
  • A current NSW Drivers Licence and First Aid certificate.">
