Transforming Lives Through Infrastructure Leadership

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our Pre-Contracts team in delivering end-to-end rail and bus solutions across Australia and New Zealand.
The successful candidate will develop new business strategies, manage customer relationships, and oversee tendering processes to win profitable work.
- Lead the conversion of prospects into projects through the EOI, Tender, and Post-Tender phases.
- Support bid managers throughout the tender phase, including leading governance reviews.
- Undertake commercial reviews of prospects to ensure financial viability and margin expectations.
- Lead post-tender negotiations, contract formation, award, and project launch.
- Oversee effective handover from the tender team to the delivery team.
- Commercial and financial management: Ensure strong contract, commercial, and financial risk management.
- Strategic planning: Identify current and future markets and industry trends.
- Develop and implement business development strategies to convert prospects into projects and maximize revenue and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
The Rail NSW and Queensland Pre-Contracts Manager will be responsible for:
- Leveraging market intelligence to identify opportunities and develop strategic plans.
- Maintaining effective relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and partners.
- Managing and mitigating commercial risks to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Driving business growth through the development and implementation of innovative solutions.
