About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team in Melbourne, Australia.

The main responsibility of this position is to operate state-of-the-art chocolate moulding lines, ensuring quality control and adherence to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Operate high-speed machinery for enrobing, depositing, mixing fillings, and tempering chocolate.
  • Perform end-to-end machine operations, maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the process.
  • Organize packing staff on end-of-belt packaging.
  • Follow established recipes and procedures to produce high-quality chocolates.
  • Mix and blend ingredients to create fillings for depositing.
  • Work within a production schedule and ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Lift heavy objects up to 25kg consistently.
  • Clean down machinery and perform line changeovers.
  • Complete paperwork and maintain traceability records.
  • Order stock as needed.

Requirements:

  • Background in a manufacturing environment, preferably food and FMCG.
  • Tech-savvy with a technical and mechanical mindset.
  • Take pride in work and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Quick learning ability and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Diligent attention to detail and quality standards, adhering to Food Safety policies and regulations.
  • Punctual and reliable history.
