Facilities Management Position

The Facilities Manager plays a pivotal role at the school, reporting directly to the Business Manager. This position is responsible for overseeing the upkeep of the school's buildings, grounds, and gardens.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair school facilities under the direction of the Business Manager.
  • Organise and coordinate maintenance tasks, ensuring timely completion.
  • Monitor student participation in environment duty or community service.
  • Ensure staff areas are well-maintained, including supplies and event setup.
  • Oversee physical classroom environments and storerooms.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including gardening and cleaning.
  • Conduct general maintenance of locks, furniture, and structures.
  • Carry out electrical work, such as globe changes and testing.
  • Undertake plumbing tasks, including gutter cleaning and tap maintenance.
  • Support the Business Manager in inventory management and equipment organisation.
  • Review maintenance logs and OHS protocols regularly.
  • Other duties may be assigned by the Principal or delegate.
