About the Role

As a key member of our Community Services team, you will play a pivotal role in driving commercial strategies to foster growth and profitability within our expanding business unit. Reporting directly to the General Manager of Community Services, you will be responsible for spearheading initiatives that enhance operational processes, develop pricing structures, and conduct market research to identify new opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process Improvement: Collaborate with the General Manager to analyze and optimize continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring seamless project/business planning and reporting.
  • Commercial Strategy Development: Design and implement strategic plans aligned with departmental objectives, focusing on revenue generation and operational efficiency.
  • Pricing Structure Development: Create and refine pricing models for our projects/businesses, taking into account industry standards and market trends.
  • Market Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to inform detailed business plans for commercial opportunities, identifying areas for expansion and growth.
  • Performance Monitoring: Regularly assess and report on the performance of commercial activities, providing actionable insights to the General Manager.
  • New Market Identification: Proactively identify new market opportunities and develop targeted strategies to capitalize on them.
  • Risk Assessment and Management: Conduct thorough risk assessments for new initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational policies and procedures.
  • Relationship Building: Foster effective relationships with key stakeholders, contractors, and suppliers, promoting collaboration and mutual understanding.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with relevant departments within Community Services and ALPA to drive cohesion and shared goals.

What We're Looking For

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • Proven experience in project management, budgeting, and people management.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.

What's on Offer

  • A competitive salary of approximately $95,000 per annum (negotiable based on experience), plus additional benefits.
  • The opportunity to Salary Package up to $15,900 per annum, with extra Meal and Entertainment expenses up to $2,650.
