Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT professional to maintain and update our SharePoint site. The ideal candidate will possess excellent technical skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert computer support for all computer and data communication operations, including installation of new and enhanced systems.
  • Work collaboratively with others to assist in providing IT support during major events and incidents.
  • Manage and administer fileservers and other associated ICT functions.
  • Use Active Directory tools and monitoring tools to provide access controls and enable remote monitoring of computers and file services.
  • Disseminate information to end users and facilitate high level computer awareness and development of staff.
  • Regularly monitor and review computer system effectiveness and recommend improvements in IT related strategies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Technical/Operational/Educational experience:
    • Demonstrated experience and competency in technical disciplines, such as recognised qualifications in information technology and cyber security.
  • Other:
    • The successful applicant must be willing to perform duty within any CIC Group/Unit within the Brisbane Metropolitan area.
    • They may be exposed to material of a graphic and sensitive nature while performing duties.
    • Applicants may be required to obtain and maintain a security clearance to the minimal level of Negative Vetting Level 1.
    • Shift work and travel throughout the State may occasionally be required.
