Job Description

Are you a strategic and operational leader with a passion for safety, customer engagement, and business performance?

Our organization is seeking an experienced National Manager to oversee and drive the success of our Gases logistics operations.
  • Drive Safety Culture - Lead the implementation of our safety program, fostering a culture of care, accountability, and rigorous safety risk management.
  • Operational Leadership - Oversee all logistics operations related to Gases contracts, ensuring strong governance, compliance, and standardised processes.
  • Team & Culture Development - Provide inspirational leadership to build a high-performance team and a positive workplace culture focused on collaboration, capability uplift, and continuous improvement.
  • Resource & Asset Management - Ensure optimal allocation of people, systems, financial resources, and assets to meet operational plans and drive productivity.
  • Customer & Commercial Focus - Build strong customer relationships, identify growth opportunities, and apply commercial acumen to deliver sustainable, profitable partnerships.
  • Continuous Improvement & Innovation - Champion initiatives that simplify processes, eliminate waste, and enhance value and profit performance across customer contracts.
Qualifications:
  • A tertiary qualification in logistics or business-related discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated management experience in transport, logistics or related industry.
  • Strong knowledge with relevant state legislation.

  • Industry Knowledge & Compliance - Understanding of transport legislation, regulations, fatigue management, and dangerous goods handling.
  • Commitment to Security & Collaboration - Willingness to meet licensing/training needs for security-sensitive operations and a collaborative approach to improving overall business performance.
