Job Summary

Star HR is seeking a highly skilled and passionate Speech Pathologist to join our team in an educational setting. As a Speech Pathologist, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, creating personalized therapy plans, and delivering direct therapy services to students with disabilities.

Responsibilities

* Conduct assessments to identify students' speech, language, communication skills, and educational needs
* Create and execute personalized therapy plans tailored to address students' specific objectives and challenges
* Deliver direct therapy services, both individually and in group settings
* Collaborate with teachers and school staff to integrate therapy goals into the classroom environment and support inclusive learning practices
* Provide training and support to school staff and parents on strategies to support students' needs
* Monitor students' progress and adjust therapy interventions as necessary to ensure continued growth and development

Requirements

* Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology (with SPA membership)
* Experience working with children and adolescents with disabilities, preferably within a school or educational setting
* Current driver's license and car required, as you will be traveling between schools
* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice
