Speech Pathologist

SA Health is seeking a skilled Speech Pathologist to join our team in Gawler/Barossa. As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to the delivery of comprehensive health services to the local community.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct assessments and diagnoses of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to clients' needs.
- Provide therapy services to individuals, groups, or families.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care for clients.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation.
- Monitor and evaluate clients' progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Educate clients, families, and caregivers on speech and language disorders, therapy techniques, and strategies for managing communication difficulties.
- Stay informed about developments in the field of speech pathology and participate in professional development activities.
- Must hold a recognized qualification within the Speech Pathology profession and be eligible for full membership of the Speech Pathology Association.
- Previous experience working in a healthcare or clinical setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to providing high-quality, client-centered care.
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices in speech pathology.
- Proficiency in relevant assessment and therapy techniques.
