About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Training Academy Manager to join our team at ASC. As a key member of our organisation, you will be responsible for supporting the development of the South Australian Campus of the Skills and Training Academy (STA) and training infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development of the STA's South Australian Campus, working closely with joint partners to define the proposed learning curriculum.
  • Prepare and deliver internal and external briefings and workshops to ensure key stakeholders are informed on project progress.
  • Act as the ASC lead for STA implementation and other future training infrastructure projects, developing an implementation plan to achieve Initial Operating Capability phase for the SA STA.
  • Provide leadership to the broader STA team, up to 4 direct reports, and ensure delivery of ASC's support to STA pilot workforce growth initiatives.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will require a qualification in project management, training, or equivalent experience in project management and strategy definition. A minimum of 10 years' experience in a complex project environment with responsibility for defining strategy, ideally in the delivery of technical training/education programs, is highly desirable.

You will also need to demonstrate an understanding of project strategy creation and alignment to organisational goals, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills, time management, and organisational skills.

Eligibility

This role requires a current National Police Clearance, an Australian Defence Security Clearance, and an ability to access protected US defence technology. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearances and approvals.

Whilst ASC will accept all applications for this role, as this role requires an ability to access protected US defence technology, applicants holding nationality of certain foreign countries will not be eligible.
