Simulation Facilities Manager Role

This position oversees the daily operational management of a simulation centre, focusing on clinical skills and teaching within UNSW Medicine & Health.

The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and guide staff effectively.

  • Responsibilities include effective management of the simulation centre, including staff supervision, resource allocation and collaboration with academic staff and industry partners to design and deliver simulation-based education.
  • Maintenance of high-quality facilities, equipment and resources to ensure optimal learning environments.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Day-to-day logistical management of the Simulation Centre.
  2. Development and implementation of educational programs, workshops and events to support clinical skills training.

Applicants must have a relevant tertiary qualification and subsequent relevant experience or equivalent competence gained through any combination of education, training and experience.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Relevant tertiary qualification and subsequent relevant experience or equivalent competence.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and guide staff effectively.
