About the Role

This key position involves translating customer needs into actionable product roadmaps, integrating engineering, manufacturing, and design services to ensure operational advantage and long-term viability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop comprehensive product strategies that align with customer requirements, market needs, and regulatory standards.
  • Apply business principles using product methodologies to validate and iterate product features, driving adoption and commercial success.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and benchmarking to identify market differentiators in the lighting sector, informing go-to-market strategies.
  • Lead workshops with development teams to capture critical requirements for products, ensuring seamless integration of customer feedback.
  • Develop pricing models and long-term sustainment plans tailored to our lighting solutions, tracking and reporting on product performance metrics.
About You

We seek a strategic thinker with strong technical and commercial skills in the heavy industry lighting sector. You should have:

  • Experience in Product Management, Engineering, Trades, Business Development, or Project Management.
  • Strong ability to translate customer needs into technical specifications and product roadmaps, with experience working with senior stakeholders and industry partners.
  • Familiarity with market regulations and safety standards relevant to electrical enclosures and lighting solutions, with a proven track record in challenging environments.
Desirable Qualifications

Degree in Engineering or manufacturing and/or a trades background, or a related field, with familiarity with technical solutions in lighting and exposure to heavy industry clients and markets.
