Overview

Position: Apprentice – Heavy Vehicle Mechanic. Location: Morisset, NSW. Schedule: Full-time with potential for overtime and occasional Saturday. Qualification: Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or related). You may be currently undertaking 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year of a Certificate III in Heavy Vehicle Mechanic Technology, or have completed a Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanic Technology and be keen to upskill.

Responsibilities
  • Assist qualified tradespeople with repairs and servicing of trucks and buses
  • Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting on heavy vehicles
  • Help manage parts inventory and workshop tasks
  • Support emergency repairs and breakdown assistance
  • Keep the workshop clean, safe, and organised
Qualifications
  • Currently undertaking 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year of a Certificate III in Heavy Vehicle Mechanical Technology OR has completed a Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology and is keen to upskill
  • Willing to work overtime and some Saturdays
  • Reliable and enthusiastic, with a genuine interest in the automotive industry
  • Holds a driver's licence and access to a car, or lives locally to Morisset
