About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team at Ovolo Group. As a key member of our Food and Beverage team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant and bar functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Food and Beverage General Manager in ensuring rostering is compliant with business demands and budgeted manning guides.
  • On-board and train new staff to ensure they are equipped to provide exceptional service to our guests.
  • Handle reservations for both restaurant and bar, responding to all guest requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Bring a creative element to the venue by working closely with the F&B General Manager to curate quarterly promotions.
  • Monitor daily sales, ordering, and costs for the venue to ensure we are meeting our financial targets.
  • Work with stakeholders to ensure smooth venue operations and functions.
  • Coordinate team meetings and briefings to ensure effective communication between the team.
  • Ensure high levels of service are provided by the team to all guests.
  • Liaise with the kitchen team regarding menu changes, selling strategies, customer feedback, and service issues.
  • Ensure high quality presentation of all food and beverages delivered to guests.
About You

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Restaurant Manager or Assistant Manager with at least 3 years' experience in the hospitality industry. You will have an in-depth knowledge of food and beverage, with a preference for plant-based knowledge. You will have previous experience using Micros and a valid QLD RSA certificate. You will be an excellent communicator with a positive attitude and a willingness to put in the hard work to achieve maximum results.
