About the Role
BHP Billiton Mitsubishi Alliance (BMA) represents a premier enterprise, founded on the strengths of BHP Billiton and Mitsubishi. BMA is a segment of the globe's largest diversified resources corporation, overseeing various mining operations and a port in Central Queensland. We are currently seeking skilled and experienced multi-functional operators to fill roles across our open-cut sites.
Available Roles Include:
• Dump Truck Operators (CAT 797 and 793)
• Ancillary Equipment Operators
• Excavator/Shovel Operators
• Loader Operators
• Dozer Operators (D10/D11)
In addition to a strong commitment to safety, essential qualifications for the role include:
• Proven dedication to maintaining a safe and environmentally sustainable workplace, including a willingness to uphold high standards of safety, equipment maintenance, cleanliness, and adherence to site protocols.
• Solid technical expertise and experience in equipment operation.
• A mindset geared towards continuous improvement and a readiness to learn and adopt new digital and technological skills.
• An eagerness to proactively contribute innovative ideas to address challenges and enhance existing processes and tools.
About You
The ideal candidate will possess:
• Current water truck, grader, and/or dozer skills are essential.
• Excavator or electric shovel skills are highly regarded.
• An unrestricted 'C' Class Driver's license is essential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Demonstrated capacity to effectively integrate into new teams and emphasize teamwork.
