Leading Anaesthetist for Perioperative Services

Job Overview
We seek an experienced Anaesthetist to support surgical and critical care services at our hospital.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive anaesthetic services across four operating theatres for various specialties, including orthopaedics, general surgery, dental surgery, urology procedures, and obstetrics and gynaecology.
- Deliver emergency airway management, ventilation, and acute pain services as required.
- Contribute to perioperative assessments, patient optimisation, and procedural planning through collaboration with Surgical and Emergency Department teams.
- Work closely with colleagues to provide a supportive and collegial multidisciplinary team with diverse and rewarding caseloads.
- Primary medical degree registrable with AHPRA and Fellowship of ANZCA or equivalent specialist pathways.
- Recent and comprehensive experience in Anaesthesia, demonstrated by evidence of medical expertise.
- Strong communication skills with patients and colleagues, as well as ability to assist staff and trainees.
- Collaboration within an interdisciplinary framework and leadership capabilities in safety and quality activities.
- Advocacy for improved health outcomes and professionalism, professional development, and clinical governance.
