Airport Maintenance Compliance Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and capable Compliance Advisor to join our organization in a key operational role supporting both day and night shifts.
About the RoleThis is a frontline position providing second-line assurance across all maintenance and construction works at an airport, ensuring compliance with Safety, Security, Environmental, and Quality (SSEQ) requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct regular inspections and audits to monitor contractor compliance with WHS, quality, environmental, and security obligations.
- Provide expert advice and coaching on risk controls and management.
- Participate in risk workshops, toolbox talks, and pre-start briefings to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assess contractor SWMS, Safety and Quality Management Plans, and permits to guarantee compliance.
- Support coordination between projects, maintenance, and operations to maintain operational readiness.
- Tertiary qualifications in construction, engineering, WHS, or a related field.
- Experience in construction supervision or compliance roles.
- Strong knowledge of WHS legislation, QA systems, and risk management.
- Familiarity with Australian construction standards (e.g. BCA, NCC).
