Director of Strategic Engagement

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving communications strategy and creating engaging content to promote the organization's public brand and reputation.
- We are looking for an experienced professional to contribute to the development of our communications strategy, including external communications, media, social media, marketing, and events.
- The successful candidate will have a proven track record in executing complex communications strategies and delivering high-quality marketing campaigns.
- In this role, you will work closely with internal stakeholders to develop and maintain trusted relationships and partnerships that support the organization's strategic positioning.
Requirements:
- You should have relevant tertiary education in communications or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in public relations and communications is required.
- The ideal candidate will have experience navigating complex environments, ideally in federal/state government or defense industries.
- You must have previous experience managing professionals to deliver high-quality outcomes aligning with organizational strategies.
- A strong ability to develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders is essential.
- Australian Citizenship is mandatory for this role.
